Europlan leasing company has revealed the results of its activities in the 1st quarter of 2008. The period was marked by further significant growth. Comparing with the corresponding period of the last year, the increase amounts to +98,2%. Within the three months there were closed 4 414 lease agreements with 2393 lessees – Russian companies, enterprises and entrepreneurs, leased vehicles and various equipment in total amount of over $268 mln.
Cars, trucks and self-propelled machines continued to be the number 1 in the total volume, their share in the 1st quarter amounted to 87%. The company managers say that in the first months of the year the growth trend in lease of commercial vehicles continued to be higher, resulting in 30% share of trucks in all deals of the period. In spite of an obvious contraction in the long-term credit markets, the company is looking positively at its market growth prospective and is not changing its ambitious expansion plans for 2008.
Being the leader of the Russian autoleasing and borrowing a significant share of the market, the company has continued development of cooperation with representations of motor-car manufacturers in Russia, importers and dealers of cars. For the first quarter 2008 company has prolonged partner programs from Open Company " Nissan Motor Rus " (mark: Nissan), Open Company " Peugeot Rus Auto" (mark: Peugeot), Open Company " Rolf Import " (mark: Mitsubishi), Open Company " Volkswagen Group Rus " (marks: Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi), Open Company " BMW Rusland Trading " (mark: BMW), Joint-Stock Company " Daimler Crysler Auto Rus " (mark: Mercedes-Benz) and others. Withi the these programs clients Europlan could buy cars more than 20 world marks with discounts and on special leasing conditions.
