On November, 26, 2004 in Gallery of Arts of Zurab Tsereteli Baring Vostok Capital Partners celebrated their 10th anniversary. The event has generated more then 200 guests. The ceremony was hosted by Igor Vernik and Marina Devyatova.
The official part of the reception was opened by Aleksey Leonov - The President of Baring Vostok Capital Partners with congratulatory speech. Mr. Leonov spoke about the history, achievements, and plans of Baring Vostok for the future. The President’s speech was followed by a short film about the company.
Heads of Baring Vostok’s investee companies also congratulated the company during the ceremony. Among them were: Mr. Gary Wilson – SladCo, Nikolay Zinoviev – EUROPLAN, Marina Treshova - PPE Group, Vladimir Dolgov - Ozon (Internet Shop), Vladimir Hanumyan - STS Media, Arkady Volozh – Yandex.
On that occasion the company was congratulated not only by friends and partners, but also by ordinary people who did it live from the streets of Russia. The most unexpected congratulation was received by Baring Vostok from space!
The event was continued with a performance by a Georgian acapello quoir that was followed by a charming female string duet "Vibration", who performed classical and modern music in a great style.
In the conclusion of the reception an auction took place where a picture “Dove of piece” drawn by Mr. Leonov (who is also a famous painter and a legendary spaceman, twice hero of the USSR) within 15 seconds during the ceremony, was sold.
