"The modern-day Tver region is one of the largest in Central Russia. It connects two of the most economically developed regions in the country – the Central region and the Northwestern region, and is located between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Tver has the necessary prerequisites for the development of small and mid-sized business, including a favorable geographical location and an economically active population",- Europlan Vice President Alexander Levi said. Tver is one of the largest administrative, industrial and cultural centers in Russia. Its population amounts to over 461,000 people and this has increased in recent years due to migration. The city has almost 190,000 people working in the social-economic sphere, of which 64% are employed in production, 23% - in the social-cultural sphere and science, and 13% - in utilities.
"Its closeness to the two Russian capitals is good news for the region's business climate. A trend is being noted towards more open business practices between entrepreneurs. The services of leasing companies, to support the development of production, trade and in the services sector, are more and more in demand in the region,- Sergei Bakhorev, Europlan's regional representative in Tver added.
